MEGA Encrypted Global Access also known as MEGA NZ is a cloud storage and file hosting services. It was launched on 19 January 2013 by Kim Dotcom, Bram van der Kolk, Finn Batato, and Mathias Ortmann.
The MEGA android and iOS app is available in playstore and Apple Store since July 2013.
With MEGA you will never run out of storage and you will have access to one of the most generous cloud storage services because you will never run out of storage.
Features
Below are some of MEGA’s outstanding feature:
1. End-to-End Encryption. The files and chats are encrypted with keys controlled by the user. The user is the only one who can decrypt their own data.
2. Reliable Storage and Fast Transfers. They secure cloud storage simple and convenient.
3. Secure Communication. A user can exchange messages, files and have audio/video calls with MEGA’s end-to-end encrypted chat.
Platforms
MEGA is available in different platforms:
1. MEGA Desktop Apps. Compatible with Windows, macOS and Linux. You can install MEGA Sync in your desktop to sync folders between your computer and your MEGA Cloud Drive.
MEGAsync is an installable application that synchronises folders between your computer and your MEGA Cloud Drive. All files and subfolders will be replicated in both directions. Changes that you make on your device will also be made on the MEGA Cloud Drive in near to real time (within the limits of link / system latency and file transfer times). 2. MEGA Mobile Apps. With the mobile apps you can access all your data anywhere at all times. They make it easy to access, view and share your files even if they are not originally uploaded on your mobile device.
MEGA Mobile apps is available in App Store, Google PlayStore and HUAWEI AppGallery.
3. Browser Extensions. The extensions is available is Chrome, Firefox and Edge. With MEGA browser extension it reduce loading time and strengthen security. It contains all the JavaScript, HTML and CSS files. The code runs directly from the user’s local machine, rather than being loaded from MEGA through SSL at runtime.
4. MEGA CMD. A command line tool to work with your MEGA account and files.

“Used to sync my pictures perfectly until I moved the folder to an SD card to save internal storage space.. I updated the source folder for pics to sync in MEGA, but no file sync occurs anymore… 
There is secondary source folder to sync, but somehow that one cannot be used.. weird. Not going to move pics back to internal storage, as it’s full at 95% and I’ve an external 128GB card with plenty of space to use. Please fix the problem of external storage space as source folder.”
